Plant specifications

The mill had 18 stands; the revamp increased this to 21. A new flying crop shear, a crank/flying convertible dividing shear and loopers were added. In the second stage, cooling bed rake alignment rollers and a billet pinch roll were introduced.

Scope of work

Manufacturing, software development and commissioning of the complete electrical and automation system panels: LVDPs, MCCs, DC motor drives, PLCs and pulpit panels. Adeptek supervised the entire commissioning.
