Medium Section Mill Automation
Plant specifications
Medium section mill rolling 80–300 mm profiles. The line starts with a 6 m walking hearth reheating furnace, followed by a reversing mill and a 10-stand train. A hydraulic platform with a material diverter, built from seven synchronised modules, feeds the finishing area, where a circular saw with two automatic length buffers cuts 6 m or 12 m lengths ahead of the bundling machine.
Scope of work
Turnkey electrical automation covering LVDPs, MCCs, DC motor drives, PLCs and pulpit panels — designed, built, programmed and commissioned by Adeptek, with our engineers supervising start-up.
